Before starting the track business, I ran an RC Party rental business for two years. I started out with Epochs before moving to Mini-z's. I currently have (10) spec II and (2) Spec I. These cars worked great for all age groups especially the younger kids, since the controller was small and fit their hands better.

I highly recommend the 110volt AC/DC charger as opposed to the (6) AAA charger. You get longer run times with the AC/DC version.

The cars really hook up well on the RCP. The 1/43 size is perfect for the Mini-RCP track kits. We can provide Mini-RCP kits in the oval and wide L layout for those that don't want to spend a lot of money with the 96 tile kit. The RCP Mini-Oval would retail for around $55 and the Mini-Wide L would run about $79 shipped to your door. (Price estimates are for Continental US Only)

The shop here should have some special Epoch kits available soon. We are working on some special kits that will have different rail colors, printed with our Patent number and come with a custom storage bag. They should be available here at this site sometime in August.

RCP, I totally forgot about your Epoch heritage! Time to dig out your old cars, as Epochs are coming back in a big way! :D

Here's the Epoch Charger (http://halfeight.com/shop/product.php?productid=16271&cat=263&page=1) that RCP was referring to:

Just wanted to vouch for RCP - even with stock tires, the Epochs hook up brilliantly on my RCP Mini 96 (http://mini-zracer.com/shop/product.php?pid=954) - it's a total blast, and big enough for full-blown racing.

arch, get a real peak charger. With all the RC'ing you do, it only makes sense. One charger to rule them all so to speak. Sounds like tiny sells the piranha digital, an excellent nimh/nicd charger, and the best you can buy if you're on a budget.

i have a small gws charger for my 1/32 but i'm lacking the time and parts to make the proper leed connections to many of my various rc's. i had intended to use it for the epoch, crt and m18 but right now it's just collecting dust. i even hacked a pc power supply (http://mini-zracer.com/mini-zgallery/showgallery.php?cat=521) just to feed the gws charger.
