Default micro brushless

mini micro brushless

some of these are small enough for zip zaps... but I post this for the larger ones for epochs... some are corless like the shotgun dual mod.. but some are true brushless... not that it is really all that big of a deal on a toy car LOL... thse are for medical pumps and stuff...

just thought it was insanely small lol... I was just looking for a place to make me custom brushless outrunners... to my spec/sizes...

I think the most reasonable BL you could manage for these cars would be the 12mm sold as IPS replacements. I have one, but the only car ESC I have is a mamba and its far too large for anything this small. I dropped it into my custom xmod, and it ran pretty well, instantly hit top speed, but I couldn't find a good pinion for it. The shaft is 1.5mm and I couldn't find anything for it, much less a larger pinion to gear it properly. Even then, the mamba was a tight fit on an xmod, even if the motor was smaller. If I decide to pick that project back up (ie. put more money in), I'd pick up a Quark 22A ESC, its about 10mm shorter than the mamba.

The 7mm motor at the site you linked would be sweet (I think the motors in the shotgun mount are 7mm?), but I bet its super expensive. $200+ for the motor and their dev board would be my guess.

I think theres a place that makes micro outrunners (and controllers) for super micro indoor fliers, but I forget where.
