son of a... STUPID AXLE HAIR (help!)
You know, I've heard about people complain about getting hair (or in my case, kitty fur) stuck in the front axles, never happened to me. Well until now that is. I can't get the GD wheel off the axle to clean it. I know they DO come off, I've seen LBRC's pictures. But HOW?! I pull and pull, and I'm afraid I'm going to break something. Help!

You need a small set of needle nose plies.
First remove the knuckle/wheel assembly from the chassis. Then while holding the round metal axle head with the pliers twist the wheel and pull as if unscrewing it from the axle. You don't want to do this too many times because it does loosen the wheel some however if your careful you can repeat the process many times without ill effects and as long as you don’t squeeze the axle head to hard you can even keep from scaring it up. Clean the hair and carefully push the pin back through the knuckle and into the wheel. |
